4 Fantastic Fish Gold

4ThePlayer revisits its own 2022 release in 4 Fantastic Fish Gold, keeping the sun-drenched, purple-tinted seascape but changing how the top prizes are won: a prize wheel now sits above the reels, its four values climbing whenever Coin symbols land across the grid.

The layout is a 6x4 grid worth 4,096 ways to win, paying on adjacent reels starting from the left. Boxes, reels, crabs, birds and anglers form the premium symbols at 3x-10x stake for six of a kind, while card royals from Ten to Ace, each carrying a small hook, sit below them at 1.5x-2.5x. A boat wild covers every symbol except the scatter and can land anywhere but the leftmost reel.

Cash-carrying fish symbols can appear anywhere on the grid, and whichever value is printed on them pays out once they join a winning combination — the mechanic the game calls Money Ways.

Three or more scatters open the Respin Bonus, activating only the reels that carried a scatter while the rest stay shut. Fish already sitting on an open reel from the trigger spin lock into place, and every new fish that lands afterward does the same while pushing the respin count back up to three. A scatter reaching a closed reel later in the round opens it too, resetting the counter the same way. Once an open reel is completely covered in locked fish, a shark clears it, doubles the combined total, and holds that value at the top of the reel while the rest of the positions reopen for new symbols.

A Giant Squid can turn up on any spin, building or improving a win during the base game, and during the Respin Bonus it instead relocates fish from a closed reel onto an open one. Boosting Fortunes replaces the earlier version's jackpot symbols with four dynamic prizes shown above the reels — a Big worth 10x-100x, a Super at 25x-250x, a Mega at 200x-1,000x and an Ultra reaching the game's full 15,070x maximum. A Coin raises the prize tied to whichever reel it lands on, and landing one or more on a base-game spin can set the wheel spinning to award one of the four outright.

Feature buys cover both routes into the bonus content: the Respin Bonus can be bought outright for 75x stake, while 30x buys a single spin guaranteed to include a Giant Squid.

RTP tops out at 94%, with an 86% alternate configuration also available; volatility is high, hit frequency runs 22.83%, and stakes span 0.10 to 60. The maximum win is 15,070x stake, only a fraction above the non-Gold original's ceiling. Released 4 June 2025.
