80sPop is Avatarux's take on the PopWins format, wrapping the mechanic in a broad 1980s pop-culture theme built from neon colour and retro styling.

Play begins on a five-reel, three-row grid offering 243 ways to win, and combinations pay from both directions — left to right from the first reel and right to left from the last. Four musical note symbols make up the low-paying tier, worth 1 times the stake for five matching icons, a drum, a guitar and a microphone sit in the middle of the table paying up to 1.5 times the stake, three character symbols form the high-paying group at 2 times the stake for five, and a Star symbol sits above them all, paying 4 times the stake for five of a kind; there's no wild in the base paytable.

Every winning symbol pops and is replaced by two new symbols dropping into place, which raises both the reel height and the number of ways to win with each cycle, continuing until a spin produces no further wins. Reel height is capped at 6 rows in the base game and 8 rows during free spins. Once every reel reaches the 6-row base game cap, a multiplier count-up begins and keeps rising until wins stop forming, at which point free spins trigger and the multiplier carries across into the bonus round.

Five free spins are awarded at that point, with the free spin reels starting at 3 rows and able to grow back up to 8. Unlocking progress resets to the shortest reel height between individual free spins, but the multiplier itself keeps climbing without resetting, gaining +1 after every winning pop round, and reaching the full 8-row height across all reels adds two extra free spins to the total. The Star symbol becomes more valuable as the reels grow taller during this round, paying double its base value once all reels reach 6 rows, triple at 7 rows, and quadruple once every reel hits the maximum 8 rows.

On entry to free spins, a bonus wheel can add to the total spin count: a level-one wheel awards between 0 and 4 extra spins, while a level-two wheel offers 0 to 5. A bonus buy costs 85 times the stake and offers a choice between five free spins with a starting multiplier already in place, or a gamble route that can deliver up to 12 free spins but loses the entire bonus if the gamble fails.
