Play'n GO follows up its 2024 title Mystery Genie Fortunes of the Lamp with 1001 Mystery Genie Fortunes, trading that game's exotic imagery for a brighter, beach-adjacent take on the same setup — the base game keeps a One Thousand and One Nights look, while free spins move the scene to a waterfall and lakeside backdrop.

The grid runs 5 reels and pays on 20 lines, with combinations awarded from the leftmost reel across a medium 5-out-of-10 volatility rating. Card ranks 10 through Ace make up the low end of the paytable at 1.2x-2x the stake for five in a row. The higher-paying symbols group three human portraits — a young man, a woman and an elder — alongside a tiger and a monkey, worth 5x to 8x the stake for five matching. Wilds only appear when a Mystery symbol reveals one, and they substitute for everything except scatters and Magic Lamp symbols.

Mystery symbols can land on any spin in 1001 Mystery Genie Fortunes and turn into a Mystery Wild, a Magic Lamp, or a run of matching regular symbols. Mystery Wilds have a chance of coming out enhanced with a x2 to x5 multiplier attached. Magic Lamps summon an Expanding Wild and a respin; if a new Lamp appears during that respin, the streak continues and the multiplier steps up, starting at x2 and eventually reaching x5 from the sixth streak onward, with the whole sequence capped at 50 respins.
