Abrakadabra

Abrakadabra, developed by Peter & Sons, sets its reels in an outdoor scene of arcane magic, with a wizard figure standing beside the rising win multiplier while an unusual brown structure occupies the other side of the screen framing the transparent game grid.

The game runs on a 5x3 main grid topped by an additional power reel, and rather than fixed paylines, wins are created across 243 ways whenever matching icons line up on neighbouring reels beginning at reel one. Landing five of the lower-value J, Q, K or A symbols returns 0.25 to 0.35 times the stake, while the higher-paying set — an orange creature, a witch, a green jelly-like beast and a skeleton — returns 0.55 to 2.5 times the bet for a full line of five. A wild symbol substitutes for any regular paying icon to help complete combinations.

Every win clears the winning symbols and triggers a cascade, first pulling replacements down from the power reel above before the remaining gaps fill from further symbols, and this repeats for as long as new wins keep appearing. The power reel itself carries two symbol types: wilds that arrive holding between one and three lives, staying on the grid and losing one life per cascade or spin until they run out, and powerup symbols that can grant extra free spins or apply a Multiplier Powerup. That powerup adds one step to the running multiplier during regular free spins, or one to three steps during Super free spins, with multiple powerups landing at once stacking their steps together. The base win multiplier itself climbs with every winning cascade in stepped jumps — x1, x2, x4, x7, x11, x16 and upward — resetting after each cascade sequence in the base game but carrying over without resetting once free spins begin.

Collecting three scatter symbols awards 7 free spins, with each extra scatter adding a further two, and a wild placement feature can trigger at random whenever the power reel holds two or more wilds at the end of a cascade sequence or on a non-winning spin, scattering those wilds onto any position on the grid. A separate Super Free Spins mode collects any single or double scatter landings that appear during play, and reaching a total of 450 collected scatters awards 10 Super free spins, where the Multiplier Powerup can add up to three steps at once instead of one.

Players can also buy entry to the bonus round directly, choosing between 90 times the stake for 7 free spins or 120 times the stake for a random 7 to 11 free spins. A separate Power Bet option is available too, raising the stake by 20% in exchange for doubling the likelihood of triggering free spins naturally.

The game carries a 96.05% RTP at high volatility (5/5), a 24.79% hit frequency, and a maximum win of 10,000 times the stake, with bets ranging from 0.10 to 50 per spin. It released on 26 July 2023.
