Akiva: Claws of Power

Foxium places Akiva: Claws of Power on a stretch of dry African grassland, running the reels against acacia trees and a distant peak that could be Kilimanjaro, with a score that speeds up once free spins begin. The five-reel, three-row grid pays across 25 fixed lines, and combinations need three, four or five matching symbols connecting from the left.

Card symbols from J to A cover the low end of the paytable, each worth between 2x and 3x the stake for a five-symbol line. Above them, four animal-themed icons take the higher payouts: a hippo, a zebra and an antelope sit below Akiva herself, who tops the set, together returning 7.5x to 20x the bet for five in a row. A wild lands across all five reels, substitutes for every paying symbol, and completes a five-symbol line worth 20x the stake.

Two side features can strike on any base-game spin without needing a trigger symbol. Under Akiva Sandstorm, a number of symbols on the reels are changed at random to build a winning combination that wasn't there before the reels stopped. Claws of Power works toward the same outcome from a different angle: claws sweep across the grid and shuffle its contents until new wins appear.

Landing three drum scatters on reels one, three and five opens a round of five free spins. Inside it, reels two, three and four fuse into one wide reel carrying oversized symbols — each big symbol fills nine positions, except for the big scatter, which only counts as one — and further scatters during the round add more spins on top.

A separate Link&Win feature begins once six or more Coin symbols are showing. Three respins start with every existing Coin locked in place, and each additional Coin that lands resets the respin count back to three. Coins carry cash values running from 1x up to 100x the stake, or one of two jackpots: a Mini worth 30x and a Mega worth 100x. The round closes either when the respins are used up or when all fifteen grid positions are filled, and completing the grid entirely also pays out a top Mega jackpot of 1,000x the stake.
