Ankh of Anubis Awakening

A brooding circular sky hangs over a futuristic version of ancient Egypt in Ankh of Anubis Awakening, Play'n GO's sequel to its 2019 release, carrying the same 3-4-4-4-3 reel shape and 576-way structure into a new setting, with Anubis providing spoken commentary as the game plays. There are no extra gambling options on offer, just a single stake choice running from 0.10 to 100 per spin.

Nine regular symbols make up the paytable: five card ranks from 10 to A form the lower tier, paying 0.3 to 0.8 times the bet for five in a row, and four jewellery-style symbols sit above them, worth 1.5 to 10 times the bet at the same five-symbol count. Anubis fills the wild role, appearing throughout the reels and substituting for everything except the scatter; five wilds on a winning way pay 25 times the stake.

Random Anubis Wild triggers can strike on any base game spin, dropping 4 to 8 wild symbols onto the grid while the reels are still moving, though the feature carries no guarantee of a win. A different trigger, the Anubis Respin, fires when a scatter or wild lands on a non-winning payway: every wild already on the reels then spreads vertically until it fills its whole reel, with a fully covered reel removed before the next respin and up to three respins awarded depending on where the wild first landed.

The Ankh symbol can land on any reel, and three, four or five scatters open the Free Spins round for 10, 15 or 20 spins. A collection meter tracks Ankh symbols through the round; five collected adds wilds to the grid via the Anubis Wild feature, and the meter carries over between spins rather than resetting. Landing a wild during free spins sets off an Anubis Respin instead, with Ankh symbols paused until it finishes and ordinary free spins resuming afterward. Further scatter hits during the round extend it directly, adding 3, 4 or 5 spins for three, four or five scatters, up to a cap of 500 free spins in total.
