Badger Miners, developed by Yggdrasil Gaming, turns respins into its core engine: Cash Wild symbols can land across the middle three reels, substitute for regular paying symbols, and collect the value of any win they're part of before triggering a respin that shifts them up one position on the reel. Multipliers sitting above those same three reels stay fixed during the respin sequence, and the run only ends once a spin passes without a Cash Wild contributing to a win.

Those multipliers are themselves shaped by a separate Operators mechanic: random multiplier values appear above the middle reels, and a plus or times symbol occasionally lands between two of them, resolving right to left into a combined multiplier applied across both reels — a 4x and a 2x joined by a multiplication operator on reels two and three, for instance, becomes a 6x multiplier on both.

Free spins are awarded from scatters landing in the base game: five scatters trigger 7 free spins, and every scatter beyond that adds two more. Inside the round, scatters stop landing altogether, and any Cash Wild that hasn't yet reached the top of its reel keeps its collected win value carried over into the following spin. The feature is naturally rare, hitting on average around once every 300 spins, though it can also be bought outright for 95x the stake.

The setting takes players underground with a pair of badger characters digging for gemstones, dirt and a felled tree visible at the top of the screen above ground level, with coloured gems studding the rock either side of the reels. Play happens on a 5x3 grid offering 243 ways to win, with a hit frequency of roughly 1 in 4 spins; wins read left to right from the first reel. The six coloured gems — blue, turquoise, green, yellow, orange and red — make up the low-pay tier, worth 6x to 8x the stake for five-of-a-kind, while a flask, a shovel, a pick and two individual badger characters form the premium symbols, paying 12x to 50x for five matching.

Yggdrasil has set a default 96% RTP for Badger Miners, with 94.2%, 90.5% and 86% configurations also available, alongside high volatility and a maximum win of 10,000x the stake. Bets range from 0.10 to 50 per spin, and the game released on 5 July 2023.
