Brew Brothers: Xmas Brew

Slotmill reworked its 2024 release Brew Brothers into a holiday edition, Brew Brothers Xmas Brew, keeping the same pair of backwoods brewers but resetting their forest hideout under snow, complete with a decorated tree and a snowman out front. Reels run 5x4 for 40 fixed paylines, and the underlying maths has been retuned from the original: RTP climbs to 96.14% (with a 94.23% alternate setting), volatility stays high, and the maximum win rises to 15,000x. Stakes span 0.20 to 60, a Burst Mode speeds up play, and an optional Xtra-Bet adds 50% to the stake in return for free spins becoming two and a half times more likely to trigger.

Ten symbols pay across the grid: J through A cover the low end, while sugar, yeast, corn, a chilled bucket of ice and two brother characters make up the premiums, with five-symbol wins worth between 1.4x and 12.5x the stake. Wilds land only on the three middle reels, substitute for every regular symbol, and can carry an x2 or x3 multiplier; when two or more multiplier wilds share a winning line, their multipliers add together, and five wilds on a line pays a flat 25x. Any scatter that fails to trigger free spins instead turns into a single wild.

A second wild called Old Betty occupies the two outer reels and covers for everything except scatters. Each time she lands there's a chance she adds between one and nine extra wilds across reels two, three and four, and if any of those land on a position that already holds a wild, that wild's multiplier rises by one - only one Old Betty can be active on a reel at once.

Three scatters award seven free spins, during which any wild landing on reels two, three or four sticks in place for the rest of the round. Old Betty upgrades into a Gold Betty once free spins start, staying put for the whole round with a fresh chance to activate on every spin, though scatters don't appear during the feature so it can't be extended. If reels two, three and four ever fill entirely with wilds during free spins, the Tractor feature merges them into one giant wild spanning all three reels, carrying over any multiplier already above x1 and gaining a further point for every extra wild a Gold Betty adds afterward.
