Pear Fiction Studios casts the three-headed hound of the underworld as the centrepiece of Cerberus Gold, rendered in the developer's neon-toned art style against an underworld backdrop of skeletons and souls.

Five reels and three rows make up the base grid, though Split symbols can stretch any reel up to six positions tall, pushing the number of ways to win from 243 up to 7,776. High volatility applies across three available RTP settings — 96.02%, 94.03% and 92.03% — with 96.02% as the default, and bets span €0.20 to €50 a spin.

Ten through ace serve as the low-paying symbols, worth 0.6x to 1x the stake for five matching cards, while five character symbols form the premium tier, paying 2x to 5x for five in a row. A wild substitutes for every regular symbol except the Fireball, Collect and Split specials.

Fireball symbols carry their own value, worth anywhere from 0.1x to 100x the stake, and a Collect symbol on the rightmost reel gathers every Fireball on the grid into one instant payout. An Orb Multiplier can raise a running multiplier up to x10, which is applied to Fireball values the next time a Collect symbol lands before it resets to x1. Split symbols touch down on a dedicated row that runs above the main grid, adding up to three extra rows to whichever reel they touch, and any rows they add carry through into the LockNWin rounds.

Landing one of three Cerberus Coins — Orange, Yellow or Pink — opens the matching LockNWin round, each starting with three respins. Every other symbol clears from the grid except locked Fireballs, and landing a new Fireball, Jackpot Coin or Multiplier symbol resets the respin count back to three; the round ends once the countdown runs out or the grid fills completely. The Orange Coin leads into Multiply LockNWin, which opens with a x2 multiplier that climbs by whatever a landing Multiplier symbol shows, from x2 up to x100, applying that value to any Fireball that lands afterwards. The Yellow Coin leads into Jackpot LockNWin, where filling a jackpot's spaces pays it out directly — the tiers run Micro at 10x, Mini at 20x, Minor at 100x, Major at 500x and Mega at 5,000x, none of which are affected by the multiplier. The Pink Coin leads into Supreme LockNWin, where a Yellow Fireball gathers every Red Fireball on the grid, and a Purple Fireball gathers both the Red and Yellow ones.

A Buy Feature lets players pay into any of the three LockNWin rounds individually or in combination, at prices from 30.10x up to 71.70x the stake for the most expensive combination. Across all three routes in, Cerberus Gold's maximum win is capped at 5,000 times the stake, with a hit frequency of 27%.
