Dr Fortuno

A travelling circus run by Baron Samedi's alter ego gives Dr Fortuno its setting, and Yggdrasil Gaming keeps the mechanics underneath the theatrics conventional - a 5-reel, 3-row grid with 20 fixed paylines and stakes between 0.10 and 100 per spin. Dr Fortuno himself doubles as the wild, standing in for every symbol except the scatter, and when he lands as part of a win he nudges to fill his entire reel and sets off the Wheel of Fortuno.

Landing wilds this way can trigger the Wheel of Fortuno as many as five times, matching the number of Fortuno symbols that formed the winning combination. Each spin of the wheel can land on a shot at the progressive jackpot, a direct jackpot win, a cash prize worth up to 5x the stake, two extra wheel spins, or a multiplier of as much as 5x the total bet. Three or more scatters anywhere on the reels start the Free Spins round instead, opening with 10 spins as a base. Landing exactly three, four, or five scatters unlocks one, two, or three modifiers respectively, drawn from a pool that includes stripping out low-value symbols, a flat 2x multiplier, extra Fortuno wilds seeded into the reels, five or ten bonus spins, a premium symbol turning wild, and a win-both-ways rule for the round.

On the reels, red, blue, green, and purple potion bottles fill out the low-paying symbols, while the premiums come from Dr Fortuno's troupe of circus performers - the Fire Head, the Water Witch, and the Night Twins, the highest-paying of the three at 20x the stake for five in a row. Yggdrasil Gaming publishes two RTP figures for the game: 96.2% as standard, dropping to 93.2% on the version that feeds the progressive jackpot, which itself grows on a contribution of 3% from each qualifying stake once an operator switches it on. Volatility is rated medium, which tracks with a bonus structure built around picking modifier combinations rather than chasing one single huge multiplier.
