Fortress Charge

Crazy Tooth Studio built Fortress Charge around a fantasy quest, using a 6-reel, 3-row grid shaped like a three-tier castle rather than a standard block of symbols. The layout plays more like a side-scrolling adventure than a conventional slot, with castles, monster encounters and battle animation running through every spin.

Each spin can land one or more of five hero characters, a knight, a dwarf, an elf, a dragon and a beast, on the leftmost reel, while the rightmost reel holds three fortresses, each carrying its own prize. The space between those two reels fills with obstacles and helpers: villains that block a hero's path, accessories that arm a hero against a specific threat, chests that pay an instant amount, and doubling multipliers. A landed hero steps one position to the right on each successive spin. Each hero is matched against a pair of villain types it can defeat outright, and a collected accessory extends that further, letting the hero clear one additional threat it couldn't otherwise pass.

Landing on an accessory adds it to a hero's inventory for later use, while a chest is opened immediately for a payout and a multiplier tile is banked toward the final total. Should a fireball drop into the grid, it clears whatever obstacle stands in a hero's way, and more than one can appear in a single spin. A hero that keeps winning its encounters keeps advancing until it is either stopped or reaches its fortress, where the accumulated wins convert into the final prize for that row.

Villain encounters that a hero wins pay between 0.75x and 1.35x the bet, scaled by which reel position the win happens on, so beating a threat further along the grid pays more than beating one early. Chests award 4.5x to 15x on their own, and the multiplier tiles are fixed at 2x each; collecting all four available in a single spin compounds to 16x. The largest prizes sit in the fortresses themselves, paying 15x up to 1,500x depending on which of the three is reached and by how many heroes.

There are no wild symbols and no free spins round in Fortress Charge; everything runs through the hero-versus-villain mechanic described above. Crazy Tooth Studio lists just 3 paylines despite the density of rules attached to them, alongside a 96.45% RTP and a 12.32% hit frequency, low enough that a hero clearing several obstacles in one spin is the exception rather than the norm. That combination pushes Fortress Charge into high-volatility territory: the biggest single result on offer tops out at 16,000x the bet, with stakes stretching from 0.10 up to 15 a spin. Long stretches without a hero making real progress come with that volatility, balanced against the size of the fortress payouts when a run does connect.
