Slotmill built Golden Scrolls around ancient-Egypt scenery, setting a 6x5 reel grid against hieroglyph-covered stone slabs with pyramids rising in the background and a desert-toned soundtrack running under the reels. Twenty fixed paylines pay when three or more matching symbols connect from the leftmost reel outward.

Card ranks from J to A cover the low end of the paytable, three Egyptian-inspired icons sit in the middle tier, and three character symbols pay the top rates: five matching royals return 4x to 4.5x the stake, five mid-tier symbols pay 7x to 12x, and five character symbols reach 14x to 20x.

Three wild types can appear, one per reel at most. The standard wild simply substitutes for any paying symbol. The Expanding Wild instead stretches down to the bottom of its reel on landing, turning every covered cell into a wild and building a multiplier by +1 for each row it passes through, up to x6. A Golden Expanding Wild goes further, covering its entire reel both up and down and carrying a fixed x6 multiplier; when more than one expanded wild lands on the same spin, their multipliers are summed before being applied to the win.

Three scatters in the base game award 8 free spins, during which wilds land more often, and every +1 Spin symbol that appears extends the round by an extra spin. If a Super Bonus scatter turns up mid-round, the remaining spins convert to Super Free Spins, adding two extra spins and upgrading every wild on the reels to a Golden Expanding Wild for the rest of the feature; landing two scatters plus a Super Bonus scatter in the base game sends players straight into 8 Super Free Spins instead.
