Play'n GO sets Honey Rush inside a hexagon-tiled clearing, trading conventional paylines for a grid that fans out from four columns on the outer edges to seven across the middle before narrowing back down, all rendered in soft cartoon greens with a forest pressing in behind the reels. Winning tiles clear from the board once a cluster of five or more connects, and fresh symbols tumble in to fill the gaps, letting one spin chain several wins in a row.

Four flower types make up the low-paying end of the table, with the sunflower the best of that group at 20x the stake for a cluster of 35 or larger. Coins in bronze, silver and gold sit above them, and a diamond tops the paytable, worth 50x, 100x or 200x the stake depending on whether the connected cluster reaches 25, 30 or 35 symbols.

A charge meter runs alongside the grid, filling with every symbol cleared by a cascade and unlocking features once it hits set thresholds. Twenty, forty or eighty collected symbols each call in the Drone Colony, which locks a cluster of at least seven matching tiles into place and drops a sticky wild once the cascade settles. Filling the meter all the way to 160 symbols instead summons the Queen Colony, branded Gargantoon here, which can build a single cluster of up to 37 symbols, enough to cover the entire board in one go. Independently of the meter, a Worker Colony can also fire at random after any spin that pays nothing, adding a cluster of up to 15 symbols to the next cascade.

The wild only appears through the charge meter, taking the form of a honey pot that lands on the ring of tiles one step in from the grid's outer edge. It shifts to a new spot with every cascade and can carry a multiplier as high as 3x on top of whatever cluster it belongs to.

Honey Rush runs at a default 96.5% RTP, with four lower configurations available down to 84.5% for operators who set it that way, and volatility rates at the top of the scale. Stakes span 0.20 to 100 per spin, and the maximum win of 9,000x the stake sits above the 5,000x ceiling typical of Play'n GO's other high-variance grid slots.

Between colony triggers, the game leans on repeated small cascades and the growing charge meter to keep the pace moving, with the occasional coin-heavy cluster or multiplied wild lifting a spin well past the base cluster pays. Reaching Gargantoon turns that pattern on its head, converting a single spin into a full-grid result.
