Play'n GO sends its mountain-dwelling mascot on holiday in Hotel Yeti-Way, imagining the creature packing a stolen suitcase of beachwear and swapping the Himalayas for a tropical island full of bungee jumps, surf breaks and scuba dives. The base game plays out in front of a sunlit wooden beach shack, with the setting shifting again depending on which bonus path gets picked.

The grid runs 6 reels by 4 rows, paying on 4,096 ways in the base game, a number that climbs sharply once free spins begin. A win needs three or more identical symbols connecting across neighbouring reels, read outward from the leftmost column. Card values from 10 through Ace, styled as driftwood carvings, occupy the lower paytable, with a shark, sunglasses, a sun hat, flip flops and a bottle of sunscreen making up the premiums above them, each worth 1x to 3x the bet for six of a kind — the shark alone also rewards a pair. Two wilds are in play: a plain ice wild that substitutes for any paying symbol, and a Yeti wild that also substitutes while paying 3x the bet for six across the grid and doubling as the trigger for the game's activity-based features.

Landing a Yeti wild sets off one of three randomly chosen modifiers. Bungee jumping stacks between one and four wild symbols onto the reels; surfing scatters two to eight wilds into random positions; and scuba diving awards a respin, with a shark symbol on that spin adding another, up to a cap of 24. The same three activities carry into free spins, awarded for landing 3, 4, 5 or 6 scatters for 8, 12, 16 or 20 spins respectively and retriggerable up to a total of 40. Before the round starts, players choose which of the three to play, which then determines what a Yeti wild does throughout — and every free spin also carries a dynamic ways multiplier, with at least one reel doubling its ways on each spin. Up to six such multipliers can stack at once, pushing the total from 4,096 ways as high as 262,144.
