Card royals from ten through ace fill the lower half of the pay table, while three holidaying figures — a spanner-carrying monkey, an eagle in a pilot's cap, and stewardess Hugolina — take the mid-tier spots. Hugo himself pays best, worth 50 times the bet for five matching symbols on a line, and wild symbols stand in for him and every other symbol to complete extra combinations across the reels.

Two connected bonus rounds carry the game. Landing submarine scatters on reels two and four together opens the Underwater Adventure pick round: a spin of a golden submarine machine hands out up to three hearts before the treasure hunt begins, and every heart still held converts into a spin on a multiplier wheel worth up to 20x once the picking is done.
