Play'n GO drops Joker Flip into a sun-lit casino town, all palm trees, fountains, a Ferris wheel and glass skyscrapers, replacing the more traditional slot backdrop with something closer to a resort strip. The grid runs five reels and three rows across 20 fixed paylines, paying left to right, with bets ranging from 0.10 up to 50 per spin.

Low-value symbols are fruit-flavoured jewellery pieces, worth 0.8x the bet for five matching icons in a row. The higher-paying set covers casino chips, dice, gold bars, bars and sevens, worth between 1.6x and 8x for a full line of five. Wild symbols can land anywhere across the five reels, substitute for everything except the scatter, and pay 30x the bet when five appear together on a line.

Four named mechanics sit on top of that base game. Mystery Symbols cover multiple positions and reveal either a standard pay symbol or a wild carrying a x2, x3, x5 or x10 multiplier once the spin resolves — land more than one multiplier wild in a winning line and their values add together rather than replacing each other. Lock On Respin fires when the first two reels both show a full stack of the same symbol, wilds included, without yet forming a win: those two reels freeze while the middle reel respins for a chance to complete the line, and this respin can lead straight into the free spins round. If a stack of wilds lands on the middle reel during that respin, it becomes a Walking Wild covering the whole reel, which then shifts one position to the right on every following respin until it reaches the final reel, seeding a handful of mystery symbols along the way and triggering one extra respin across all five reels once it arrives. Scatters cannot appear while a walking wild is active. Landing three scatters, whether from a normal spin or through that near-miss respin, awards 12 free spins with the reels flipped into reverse order; walking wilds move left instead of right during this round, and three further scatters extend it by another 12 spins, up to a total of 120.
