A blazing city under siege gives Legion Gold Reckoning its most striking visual: Play'n GO opens the game on a terrace overlooking Rome, amphitheatre and all, and that skyline catches fire once the Mega Spins round begins. Eagles, horses, bulls and lions form the animal high-pay symbols, worth 8x to 20x the stake for five in a row, sitting above J-to-A card royals that pay 2x for the same line length. A wild lands on every reel, carries the lion's payout value, and substitutes for anything except the scatter, the Gold Coin and the Gold Coin Bag.

Six Gold Coins landing in the base game start Gold Respins: three spins where only coins or a Gold Coin Bag can appear, each new coin sticking in place and resetting the counter back to three. Coin values run from 1x to 1,000x the stake, and if every position on the grid ends up filled with coins, an extra 1,000x prize is paid on top of everything collected. A Gold Coin Bag, whenever it lands, pays out the combined value of every coin currently on the reels — it doesn't stick during Respins, but landing one still resets the spin count.
