Love is in the Fair

Play'n GO built Love is in the Fair around two characters spending a date at a seaside fairground, snapping photographs together between rides, treat stalls and toy stands. A boardwalk diner, a glimpse of the shoreline and a pair of vintage cars complete a mid-century American pier setting, and short voiceover lines from both characters run through the session.

The reels form a 5x3 grid across 10 paylines, with regular wins read left to right from the first reel. Five card-suited sweets, ranked 10 through Ace, make up the low-paying symbols and return between 2x and 4x the stake for a full line of five. Above them sit four premium symbols — the two leads, a teddy bear and a ring — worth 7.5x to 25x the stake for the same five-symbol line.

Romantic Pic scatters can turn up on any of the five reels, and a random stacked-scatter mode occasionally fills the whole board with them at once; landing three or more starts the free spins round. Love Cam wilds substitute for any regular symbol and sometimes carry a multiplier value between x2 and x100, applied to whichever line the wild helps complete — only the highest multiplier wild on a payline counts toward that win.

Free spins begin with a wild multiplier locked in for the whole round, and its starting strength depends on how many Romantic Pic scatters have already been gathered, including the ones that opened the feature. Three scatters start the round at three spins with a x2 multiplier; that climbs to x3 once six have been collected, x5 at nine, x10 at twelve, and a full x100 once all fifteen have landed, which also sets the spin count at fifteen outright. Every further three scatters collected during the round adds three more spins and steps the multiplier up again, until all fifteen have been claimed — at which point they stop appearing on the reels and no further spins can be earned.
