Medallion Megaways

Fantasma Games built Medallion Megaways as a follow-up to its first Megaways release, moving the action to a Saharan desert campsite dressed up as a luxury tent. Warm lighting and a cosy set carry the theme, with gemstone icons forming the lower-value symbols and triangle, crescent-moon and star motifs marking out the higher-paying ones.

Medallion Megaways runs on a 6x6 grid with a cascading reel set, so each spin can generate anywhere from 64 up to the full 46,656 ways to win as the number of symbols per reel changes. Winning combinations clear from the grid and are replaced by new symbols, letting a single spin chain into further wins, while a base-game multiplier climbs by 1x with every cascade in a sequence before dropping back to zero on a spin that fails to pay.

A golden snake carries the biggest regular payout, worth 30x the stake for six matching symbols on a payline, ahead of the triangle, crescent and star icons beneath it. A crystal symbol takes the wild role across reels two to five, standing in for every paying symbol on the grid.

Outside of a winning spin, a golden or silver medallion can appear and switch on or off two amulets positioned beneath the reel set, each tied to its own mechanic.

With the wild amulet switched on, any crystal wild landing on reels two to five expands to fill the entire reel and carries a multiplier of between 2x and 6x. The respin amulet instead introduces a void symbol that, whenever it lands, clears between two and ten symbols not involved in a winning combination and drops fresh ones into their place. The golden medallion can also activate the free spins amulet, awarding ten free spins that cannot be retriggered; the multiplier built up beforehand carries into the round without resetting, and both the wild-expansion and void-respin mechanics remain switched on for its duration.

Medallion Megaways returns 96.23% to players and sits toward the lower end of medium variance at 5.5 out of 10, and the game caps out at 12,331x the stake. Stakes run from 0.10 up to 80 per spin, and the desert-set presentation extends across desktop and mobile play.
