Red Tiger sends Mega Pyramid away from its usual Chinese and Mayan settings and into a fictional alien pyramid caught in a desert sandstorm, playing out over transparent reels set against a swirling, dust-choked sky with an Arabic-inflected soundtrack running underneath. The 5-reel, 4-row grid uses 30 fixed paylines, and stakes range from 0.20 to 20 per spin across desktop and mobile.

Card-suit symbols fill the low end of the paytable, stepping up to hieroglyphic scrolls, Horus, scarab beetles and Anubis, the last of which tops the table at 150x the stake for five matching symbols on a full payline.

The Pyramid Eye is the game's core modifier and can activate on any base-game spin: the screen darkens first, sometimes as a tease with no payout attached and sometimes as the real trigger. Once it fires, a beam sweeps from the structure's crowning eye symbol and reveals a paytable symbol, which then clones itself across the reels next to it, often building a win outright. The same feature has a second job: if scatters have already landed on reels one and three, the Pyramid Eye can supply the third scatter on reel five itself, opening the free spins round without a natural third hit. Separately, a Locked Free Spins Symbol effect can hold a landed scatter in place for a random number of extra spins, improving its odds of surviving long enough to combine with the others.

Reaching the Free Spins round still normally requires three scatters landing together on reels one, three and five. The round awards ten spins, and before the first one plays out, the game nominates a single paytable symbol to act as a cloning symbol for the whole round — every time it shows up on the reels during free spins, it spreads copies across nearby positions the same way the base-game Pyramid Eye does. The round can retrigger if the scatter conditions are met again.
