Booming Games sets its Megaways release in an Oktoberfest-style beer hall for Megahops Megaways, complete with wooden tables, stacked mugs, hanging pretzels and barrel decor, an oompah-band soundtrack running underneath, and an occasional voice-over marking when a feature kicks in.

The game runs on six reels using the Megaways engine, with each reel able to hold anywhere from two to seven symbols on a given spin, so the number of ways to win shifts from as few as 64 up to a maximum of 117,649. Nine regular symbols pay across those ways: five lower-value card-rank icons worth 0.4x to 0.7x the stake for six matching symbols, and four higher-value symbols - sweets, a pretzel, a beer-hall patron and a barmaid character - worth 0.9x to 1.2x for the same six-symbol line. A wild beer mug substitutes for every symbol on the reels except the scatter that opens the free spins.

Three separate random modifiers can strike on any base-game spin. Wild Beer Reels turns one or more of reels two, four and six entirely wild. Wild Upgrade instead selects between one and four of the higher-paying symbols at random and converts every instance of them into wilds once the reels stop.
