Slotmill revisits the setting of the original Money Jar for this sequel, Money Jar 2, keeping the same 1930s swing-era cartoon art and soundtrack while moving the action from a smoky private club onto the deck of a ship. Reels run 6x5 for 15,625 ways to win, and twelve symbols make up the paytable: card ranks from J through A, four suited casino chips, and four character symbols that carry the top payouts.

Every regular symbol can be replaced by a Wild, and some carry a number instead, marking them as Countdown Wilds — that number falls by one each time a Win Respin uses the symbol in a winning combination. The Win Respin mechanic locks any tiles that contributed to a win in place and sends the rest of the grid spinning again, dropping in fresh symbols, wilds, Power Up symbols or Money Jars for as long as new wins keep appearing.

Three Power Up symbols can turn up during ordinary base-game spins. A Wild Magnet converts into a Countdown Wild whose starting number depends on how many wilds are already visible on the grid. A Wild Payer raises every wild currently in view by one before turning into a wild of its own. Each spin ends with any visible Money Jars sweeping up value from neighbouring symbols before hopping to a new position on the grid — Magnets pull in coin values from elsewhere on the board, Doublers double everything currently in view, Coin Dealers seed new coin values before becoming coins themselves, Payers add their value across every other visible symbol, and Portal Pills link one Jar's takings to another once picked up.

Its counterpart, the Countdown Wild Bonus Game, opens with eight spins instead of lives, again extended by the same Extra Life symbol, and leaves unused wilds sitting on the grid until they land in a win or the round runs out. Every wild that gets used feeds a Wild Collect meter, and each pair used nudges a separate multiplier tracker up a step. Either bonus round can randomly upgrade into Super Mode, guaranteeing a feature symbol on every spin that follows.

Outside the bonus picker, Fast Track sells direct entry to a specific outcome — a guaranteed number of Countdown Wilds, a guaranteed pair of Money Jars, or straight into the bonus round itself — while Burst Mode runs a chosen stake through a set number of spins at speed, showing only the combined total and stoppable at any point.
