Yggdrasil follows up its 2021 release Raptor DoubleMax with a direct sequel, Raptor 2, keeping the same prehistoric jungle setting of glowing artwork and dangerous beasts while trimming the symbols down slightly to accommodate a grid that can grow mid-game. The reels start at 5x3 with 243 ways to win and can expand to a full 5x7 during free spins, taking the ways to win up to 16,807.

Playing card suits fill the low end of the paytable, worth 0.3x to 0.4x the stake for a five-symbol win, while four dinosaur symbols sit above them, returning 1x to 3x for the same hit. A wild substitutes for every paying symbol on the grid.

The DoubleMax Multiplier is the game's core mechanic: each win clears its symbols, drops a wild into one of the vacated winning positions, and refills the grid from above for another shot at a win. Every avalanche that lands a win doubles the DoubleMax value, which starts at x1 in the base game and resets whenever a spin or avalanche fails to win, but carries a separate, non-resetting version through the whole free spins session, capable of climbing as high as x2,048.

Landing 3, 4 or 5 scatters in the base game opens free spins on a 5x3, 5x5 or 5x7 board respectively, awarding 5, 15 or 15 free spins in turn. Scatter prizes themselves aren't multiplied by the DoubleMax value. Once inside the round, landing three or more scatters again triggers Reel Expansion, adding two extra rows at a time up to the 5x7 ceiling, and hitting the full five scatters throws in an extra free spin alongside any expansion earned. A trio of feature buys skips straight to the round for 80x, 240x or 880x the stake, corresponding to the 3, 4 or 5-scatter trigger.
