We have opened Razor Returns twice between 18 Jun 2026 and 14 Aug 2026 on stream and logged the result. The best of those paid 2,363.6× the bet. That is too few opens to say anything about how the game behaves — it is a record of what happened on those occasions, nothing more.
Push Gaming set Razor Returns beneath the waves as a follow-up to its shark-infested predecessor, trading the original's grid for a wider 5x5 layout with 40 paylines. The underwater scene is built from rock shelves, coral, and mines hanging on chains, with a gold-jawed Wild Shark prowling the reels as the game's most dangerous symbol.
Wins land when matching symbols connect from the first reel across an active payline. Four nautical trinkets - a periscope, a diving helmet, a ship's compass, and an anchor - serve as the low-paying symbols, worth 0.8x to 1x the stake for a five-symbol line. Four shark-themed premiums pay considerably more, between 2.5x and 7.5x for a five-symbol line, and the Wild Shark can appear on any reel, substituting for every regular symbol and paying 12.5x when it forms its own five-of-a-kind.
Mystery symbols land in stacks of five and set off the Nudge & Reveal mechanic: each Mystery symbol opens to show a pay symbol, a Wild Shark, or a Golden Shark, then nudges down one position on every spin until none remain. Golden Sharks in turn trigger Razor Reveal, spinning each position through Instant Prize values worth 1x to 5,000x the bet, Multipliers that scale those prizes by x2, x3, x5, or x10, Collector symbols that gather prize values before converting, and Converter symbols that turn matching pay symbols into more Golden Sharks to extend the round.
Three, four, or five Torpedo Scatter symbols send the reels into Free Spins with a starting multiplier of x1, x5, or x25 respectively. During the round, Mystery symbols repopulate reels 2 and 4, and every nudge adds +1 to a multiplier applied across all wins for that spin. Free spins winners can also gamble on a wheel for a bigger spins award before the round begins.
Razor Returns carries a maximum win of 100,000x the stake and a default RTP of 96.55%, with lower configurations down to 88.83% also in circulation. Volatility is rated high, betting runs from 0.10 to 100 per spin, and a bonus buy menu offers five separate entry points into the feature set, from a 106x Torpedo purchase up to a 550x buy for the top-tier scatter trigger.
Razor Returns has an RTP (return to player) of 96.50%. RTP is the theoretical percentage of total stakes a slot returns to players over a very large number of spins, as published by Push Gaming — individual sessions can land far above or below it.
Razor Returns is rated high volatility. High-volatility slots pay out less often, but wins tend to be bigger when they land — expect longer dry spells and larger swings to your balance.
The advertised maximum win for Razor Returns is 100,000x. Max wins are extremely rare by design — treat them as a ceiling, not an expectation.
Razor Returns is developed by Push Gaming and was released in 2023.
Razor Returns plays on a 5×5 grid with 40 paylines.
