Play'n GO gives Athena top billing for once in Rise of Athena, setting her alone among the Greek pantheon against a temple facade and pale Aegean sky on a 5-reel, 10-payline grid. The look stays deliberately minimal - clean lines and a calm colour palette standing in for the marble and open sky of an ancient Greek skyline.

Wild symbols carry random multipliers of x1 to x3 alongside their usual substitution duty, and when more than one wild lands on the same payline, those multipliers multiply together rather than simply adding up, making a two-wild line worth considerably more than the sum of its parts. The symbol set splits cleanly between low and high pay tiers: card ranks from 10 through Ace, rendered in a cracked-marble style with olive-leaf detailing, fill the lower rung, while Athena herself, a Pegasus, plumed helmets, smoky jars and scrolls sit at the top, paying between 10x and 150x the stake for five of a kind. Athena alone also pays a smaller 1x consolation for landing just two on a line.

Three or more owl scatters award 12 free spins, and the owls themselves pay independently of the paylines - 1x, 20x or 500x the stake for three, four or five in view anywhere on the grid. Inside the free spins round, wild behaviour changes: rather than disappearing after one spin, wilds stick to the reel where they land and carry a multiplier that counts down by one on every subsequent spin until it expires. Free spins can't be retriggered once the round begins.
