Ganja Snail is such a weird slot but in a good way 😂 I gave it a go because the theme caught my attention and ended up enjoying the base game way more than I thought I would. It wasn’t constantly throwing wins at me, but I had enough decent hits to keep things ticking over while waiting for the bonus.
There were a few rough patches where absolutely nothing wanted to connect, then suddenly it would throw in a nice hit and recover some of the balance. It’s definitely got character and doesn’t take itself too seriously. I’d play it again because it was actually fun rather than just another grind for a bonus.
The bonus
The Ganja Snail bonus was honestly all over the place 😂 I finally got it to land and was expecting it to either go absolutely mental or give me ten spins of pure disappointment. At first it looked like the second option was winning because the opening spins barely did anything.
A few small wins came in, but nothing exciting enough to make me think I was heading towards a decent payout.
Then it randomly changed pace and started giving me some much better hits. That’s when I actually started paying attention because the total went from looking pretty tragic to respectable surprisingly quickly. There were a couple of spins where everything seemed to come together at once and I thought it was about to properly take off.
Unfortunately I also had some horrible near misses where one more decent connection would have made the result so much better.
What I liked was that it never felt completely finished, even towards the last few spins. I’ve played plenty of bonuses where you know halfway through that you’re getting nothing back, whereas this still felt like it had a chance to pull something out at the end.
Mine didn’t go completely crazy, but it recovered brilliantly from the terrible start and finished with a result I was happy with. I’d definitely give the bonus another go because if you catch it on the right run, I can imagine this little snail doing some serious damage 😂
