Shadow Strike has been opened once on 29 Oct 2026, recorded live on stream by streamers on the StreamNeeds network. The best of them paid 188.2× the bet. That is too few open to say anything about how the game behaves — it is a record of what happened on that occasion, nothing more.
Backseat Gaming, working under the Hacksaw Gaming banner, builds Shadow Strike around a martial-arts showdown staged in a tranquil, forested clearing beneath a curved temple roof — a deliberately calm setting for a game that leans hard into combat drama once the reels start moving.
The main grid runs 5 reels, with the central 4 rows active for ordinary play. Fourteen paylines evaluate wins, and four weapon icons make up the low-value symbols while four warrior characters carry the higher payouts: a full line of five weapons pays 2-5x the stake, and five matching warriors pay 7.5-20x. A wild symbol substitutes for every regular symbol and, landing five across a line, is worth 20x on its own.
Sitting above and below the main grid are two additional Ninja Reels, locked out at the start of each base-game spin. Any of three different bonus symbols landing on the main grid unlocks them for that spin, at which point they can introduce wilds, MultiSplit symbols and spin-adding +FS icons — everything else on a Ninja Reel is a non-paying filler symbol. A wild appearing on an unlocked Ninja Reel spawns a second wild in a random spot on the matching main reel, and any wild appearing on the main grid, whether landed naturally or spawned this way, carries a possible multiplier somewhere between x2 and x50; when a win includes more than one multiplied wild, their values are added together before the win is paid. MultiSplit symbols only appear on a Ninja Reel already showing a multiplier, and they apply that value across every wild sitting on the corresponding main reel — landing on a wild with no multiplier yet simply hands it the MultiSplit's own value instead.
Three separate bonus rounds branch off from scatter symbols. Landing three, four or five Dojo Bonus scatters awards 10, 12 or 14 free spins, with both Ninja Reels active for every spin of the round and any wild on the main grid staying in place for the rest of the round; Scroll scatters trigger the same spin counts but turn every wild on the main grid into a full expanding reel wild instead. Both of these rounds hand out extra spins whenever a +FS icon turns up on a Ninja Reel, worth one to three additional spins each time. A third path, triggered by three Koi scatters, plays out in two stages: a Collection phase that runs on three lives, reset whenever a new wild, multiplier or MultiSplit symbol appears and ending once three spins pass without one, builds reel-by-reel multipliers and gradually unlocks a hidden Ninja Reel beneath the grid, followed by a three-spin Payout phase where every wild collected during the first stage rains down across the main grid carrying its reel's built-up multiplier.
A bonus buy menu offers five separate entry points at fixed prices, ranging from a cheap option that simply triples the odds of hitting any bonus naturally, through a mid-priced purchase that guarantees a cluster of wilds and a MultiSplit across the Ninja Reels, up to buying straight into any of the three named bonus rounds outright.
Shadow Strike publishes an RTP of 96.36%, with an alternate 94.31% configuration also available, rates its volatility at 4 out of 5, and hits a paying combination on roughly 24.37% of spins. Stakes run from 0.10 up to 100 per spin, and the maximum win stands at 15,000x the stake.

Shadow Strike has an RTP (return to player) of 96.36%. RTP is the theoretical percentage of total stakes a slot returns to players over a very large number of spins, as published by Backseat Gaming — individual sessions can land far above or below it.
Shadow Strike is rated high volatility. High-volatility slots pay out less often, but wins tend to be bigger when they land — expect longer dry spells and larger swings to your balance.
The advertised maximum win for Shadow Strike is 15,000x. Max wins are extremely rare by design — treat them as a ceiling, not an expectation.
Shadow Strike is developed by Backseat Gaming and was released in 2024.
There is no free Shadow Strike demo on this page. What is here instead is real play: 1 bonus open from 1 recorded hunt, with a best result of 188.2× — every figure comes from a bonus hunt recorded on this site, not from a simulator.
