A follow-up to Play'n GO's Spinnin’ Records Into the Beat, Spinnin’ Records Raving Reels trades that game's stadium-sized spectacle for a smaller house-party setting, with the action tucked into a lower-key, more intimate scene even as the crowd around it keeps growing. The grid itself grows too: the game opens on a compact 3x2 layout and expands through three further stages as play progresses, with a travel button letting players jump between any level already unlocked.

Level 1, Cyber, runs on that starting 3x2 grid across 2 paylines with six symbols in play. Landing two or more wilds triggers a respin feature, with wilds held in place and further wilds extending it up to four respins total; reaching that respin count five times opens the second level. Level 2, Tropic, moves to a 3x3 grid with 5 paylines and eight symbols, keeps the respin mechanic running up to seven respins, and introduces a Chest symbol that pays 20x the stake when it lands on reel two — landing three bonus chests across the level unlocks the third stage. Level 3, Gravity, expands again to a 4x3 grid with 10 paylines and ten symbols; respins now trigger on three or more wilds and can run to nine, while chests on reels two or three pay 20x or 60x, and landing two chests together on two separate occasions is enough to reach the final level.

Level 4, V.I.P., plays out on a 5x3 grid with 10 paylines and twelve symbols. Four or more wilds start a respin sequence that can extend to ten, and scatters appearing on reels two, three and four now come into play: three of them in view award 5 free spins. Wilds stick in place through the round and expand across their reel, and every scatter landed during free spins adds one more spin, up to a total of 40.
