Tales of Mithrune Syn's Fortune

Play'n GO returns to its fantasy kingdom for Tales of Mithrune Syn’s Fortune, a follow-up to Champions of Mithrune set in the same sky-borne realm of floating palaces and exotic creatures, styled somewhere between Dungeons & Dragons and Arabian fantasy art.

The 5-reel, 4-row grid runs 20 paylines, with 10-through-Ace card ranks acting as low pays worth 0.3x-0.4x the stake for five across a line. Five named characters fill the premium tier, paying 1.25x to 5x for a full line: Syn the Shapeshifter, Silvana the Ranger, Gorm the Barbarian, Olc the Goblin and Anastina the Sorcerer. A dagger-shaped W wild appears on every reel, substitutes for the regular symbols, and shares Syn's payout value when it completes a line on its own.

Syn also drives a standalone Character Upgrades mechanic: at the start of a base-game spin he flags one character symbol to be promoted to the highest-paying tile for that spin, though nothing changes if that character is already at the top, and only one character can be upgraded per spin.

Reaching the bonus round takes three scatters landing on reels 1, 3 and 5, and doing so opens a Power Up mini-game before the free spins in Tales of Mithrune Syn’s Fortune actually begin. That round plays out on its own 5-reel grid where only character tokens, potions and scatters can land, starting with three lives that drop by one whenever a spin produces nothing and reset to three the moment something does.
