Playson built The Fruit Megaways on Big Time Gaming's Megaways engine, its third release using that system but the first that isn't a remake of an older Playson title — here the studio goes for a straightforward fruit-machine theme rather than reworking an existing game.
The layout runs six reels holding between two and seven symbols each, so the number of ways to win changes on every spin and tops out at 117,649. Betting ranges from 0.20 up to 100 per spin, RTP is published at 95.85%, and volatility is rated high.
Classic fruit-machine icons fill the symbol set: plums, cherries, lemons and oranges pay the least, watermelons and grapes sit a tier above them, and Bar and Bell symbols act as the premiums, worth 5 to 7.5 times the stake for six matching symbols.
