Nownow Gaming made Through the Fire with Hacksaw Gaming and released it in November 2025, pitching it as a dark gothic fantasy. The base game pits a knife-wielding, upright wolf in tattered clothes against the reels in a leafy, graveyard-like setting. In the bonus round the palette turns red and two human fighters, a woman and a man, take on the wolf directly.

The grid is 5x5 with 19 paylines, and wins need three to five matching symbols. Five spiky card royals from 10 to A are the low pays, worth 1x to 2.5x for five. Above them sit the Lady and Man characters along with three objects, a cup, a vial and a cross, all worth 5x to 25x. The Wild Wolf substitutes for everything on the paytable, but it only appears as the outcome of a successful battle, and five of them on a line pay 50x.

The core mechanic is the Wild Wolf Battle. It starts when a Battle symbol lands together with at least one Man or Lady symbol. Each of those symbols fights the wolf in its own position. If the wolf loses, the symbol stays as it was. If the wolf wins, the symbol becomes a sticky Wild Wolf locked for the rest of the sequence, and any win triggers a respin with the wilds held. New Man or Lady symbols starting fresh battles keep the respins going until no further wolf is created.

Wilds can carry multipliers, from x1 to x500 for those made from the Man and x1 to x50 for the Lady. Their values are added to a running meter before any payout, and every payline win is multiplied by the meter's current total. The wild stays locked after its multiplier is collected. The meter carries across respins and resets only when the sequence ends.

Three, four or five scatters start the Inferno Hunt Bonus with 10, 15 or 20 free spins. The same battle rules apply, the multiplier meter never resets during the round, and because scatters cannot land inside it there is no retrigger.

Buying is broad. BonusHunt Feature Spins cost 3x the bet and make each spin five times likelier to trigger the bonus. Wolf Battle FeatureSpins cost 50x and ensure a Battle symbol plus a Man or Lady on every spin, and the Inferno Hunt Bonus itself costs 100x.
