TikiPop

Avatar UX carries its PopWins line out to the Pacific in TikiPop, the fifth release in the series, with a loud, colourful tiki look. Flashy carved faces fill the reels, island wildlife is drawn around the frame, and a bouncy soundtrack chimes as combinations land and wins tally up. Free spins move the scene into a blazing red temple. It launched in February 2021.

PopWins is the core mechanic. After any winning combination, the winning symbols burst and each is replaced by two new ones, which may win again. The starting 5x3 grid can stretch to a maximum of five rows in the main game, and full height on every reel doubles the round's win with a x2 multiplier. Taller reels mean more ways: from 243 up to 3,125, and since wins pay left to right and right to left, those numbers double to a range of 486 to 6,250.

High pays are five tiki symbols worth 2.5x to 6x the stake for five of a kind, with a jewelled Super High symbol above them at 10x. Tribal-patterned J to A card icons form the bottom tier. No wild exists in the game.

Scatters start free spins: three award 7, four award 11 and five award 15, labelled Level 1, 2 and 3. Ahead of the round, a Level 1 or Level 2 prize can be gambled on a 50/50 chance to move up a level, but losing sends the player back to the base game. Taking the spins as they stand is the alternative. The bonus grid opens in a 4-3-3-3-4 shape and can grow to 5x5. A progressive multiplier begins at x1, gains 1 after each PopWin and has no set limit. Between spins the grid does not reset; it falls back only to the height of its shortest reel. When all five reels reach seven positions, the height stays locked for the rest of the round with 33,614 ways available, the multiplier then rises by 2 rather than 1, and 2 to 4 spins are added.

A bonus buy costs 100x the bet and delivers 7 free spins, which can be gambled or kept just like a natural trigger.

The RTP is 96.1%, volatility is high and stakes go from 0.20 to 50 per spin. TikiPop's maximum win is 32,000x.
