Three armoured female warriors lead the cast in Troll Hunters 2, Play'n GO's sequel set against a cold, mountainous backdrop. Trolls stay out of sight for most of the base game and only turn up properly in the bonus rounds. The slot uses a 5x5 grid and cluster pays, and the maximum win is 5,000x the stake.

Symbols do not spin. Winning clusters vanish and the remaining tiles fall, sometimes creating new wins in the same spin, and each consecutive win raises the multiplier by 1x. When a win lands from three of a kind, the middle tile stays and turns wild. The warriors are the premium symbols and pay 0.5x to 10x for a cluster of five; if a cluster contains five or more different warriors, it pays 0.25x to 5x instead. The golden wild returns 1x to 50x, while the cheap end of the table is Viking gear, with axes, hammers, swords, helmets and a war horn paying 0.10x to 4x.

Warriors that take part in wins fill a Shield Meter. When it is full, x2 and x3 symbols are dropped onto the board at random so the cascade continues. It also sets off the Win Spin, where a giant troll wild lands and forces a win. Filling the meter again during a Win Spin retriggers it, and the multiplier stays at the same level.

The word BONUS drifts behind the grid, and revealing all of it through wins and falling symbols starts the free spins. The player chooses between 9 spins with regular 2x2 troll wilds, 7 spins with x2 multiplier 2x2 troll wilds, or 5 spins with x3 multiplier troll wilds.

The base RTP is 96.5%, with alternative settings of 94.50%, 91.50%, 87.50% and 84.50% that operators can select. Volatility is rated high at 10 out of 10, and bets run from 0.20 to 100. The game was released in January 2019.
