Play takes place in a solid stone hall with round windows that let in shafts of light, a warmer scene than the frozen north of the first game, with crisper graphics and a lively tune. The grid has six columns and five rows, and wins are paid by scatter logic: eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the board. The low symbols are four runic items. The high end is made up of four Viking-style faces plus a boar. Eight matching low symbols return 0.4x to 0.5x the bet, climbing to 3x to 6x with twelve or more. For the premiums, eight give 1x to 10x and twelve or more give 10x to 50x.

Cascades follow every win. The winning symbols burst off the board, others fall into the gaps, and a fresh win from the drop starts the process again.
