Played Volts & Bolts in demo mode at $1 a spin for a decent session and I actually enjoyed this more than I expected. The base game can go through some quiet patches, but then you'll suddenly get a run of hits that brings it back to life. I had quite a few teases where it looked like something bigger was about to land and then the last reel completely ruined it 😂.
There's enough happening to keep you watching though, and I liked that I never really knew when the game was about to kick off. Definitely one I'd play again.
The bonus
The bonus was definitely the part I wanted to see after playing Volts & Bolts at $1 in demo mode. Getting there took a bit of patience because the slot teased me plenty of times beforehand. I'd get what looked like the perfect setup, start thinking the bonus was coming, and then naturally the reel I needed would have other ideas 😂.
Once I finally got into the feature it felt completely different from the slower parts of the base game. Some spins didn't do much at all, but when the right symbols started connecting it suddenly became much more interesting. I had a couple of moments where I genuinely thought it was about to go absolutely crazy, especially when things started lining up nicely, but it never quite turned into the monster hit I was hoping for.
That's probably what kept me interested though. It always felt like there was another level it could reach if everything landed at the right time. Not the biggest bonus I've ever had, but definitely an entertaining one and I'd happily chase it again.
