Wild Duel

Peter & Sons draw the frontier in Wild Duel from a bird's-eye angle: the street runs across the middle of the screen, with rooftops above and below the 5x3 reels, which leaves room on either side for characters to walk in and square off. A spaghetti-western theme whistles on the start screen. The studio released the game in March 2022.

Ten fixed paylines pay for three to five matching symbols, counted from the leftmost reel. Stakes run from 0.10 to 50. Return to player is 96.1%, volatility is high, and the game hits a win on 26.78% of spins, with a best case of 10,000x the bet. The ten-through-ace card ranks form the low end and are worth 2x to 4x for five. Cacti, TNT, skulls and bottles sit above them, at 7x to 11x for five. Wilds replace any pay symbol, and several varieties exist that take on extra roles inside the features.

Two scatters landing anywhere trigger the Wild Duel feature and award a respin. For that respin, a pair of three-position reels is attached to the grid. The Marshal Reel flanks the left side and the Outlaw Reel the right. Positions on the Outlaw Reel are either empty or show an outlaw carrying a multiplier from x1 to x10. Positions on the Marshal Reel are also empty or hold a character, and each character stands for a random wild, an expanding wild that fills its whole reel, or a sticky wild.

A duel happens whenever a character on one side lines up with a character on the other in a matching row. A Marshal victory awards the wild type he represents together with the multiplier of the Outlaw he faced. Several duels can be settled in one spin, and winning one or more of them earns another respin. Sticky wilds remain on the board while the respins go on. The feature finishes when a respin brings no duel, or when the Marshals lose.

Separately, a base-game spin that wins nothing and has no duel can trigger Wild Placement, which scatters three wilds over random positions.

Three scatters in the main game award 10 free spins, and the Wild Duel feature stays switched on for the entire round. A spin that contains one duel adds a free spin, while a spin with two or three duels adds two.
