Big Juan

Big Juan brings a Mexican-themed setting to the Pragmatic Play network, developed by studio partner Wild Streak Gaming. Guitarrón playing and pistol-shooting animation feature through a base game built on a 5-reel, 4-row grid with 40 fixed paylines.

Winning combinations need at least three matching symbols landing on a payline from the left. Low pays run through the 10 to A card royals, before stepping up to guitars, hot sauce bottles, chihuahuas, señoritas and Big Juan señor symbols, with a five-of-a-kind premium combination worth 2.5x to 6.25x the stake. A wild chilli pepper symbol can land on any reel, substitutes for every paying symbol, and is worth double the value of the top high-pay symbol when it forms a win of its own.

Two features run through the game. The Wild Switch triggers in the base game whenever six or more of the same paying symbol land across reels two, three and four, transforming every one of them into a chilli wild. The larger feature is a Respins round, entered by landing three, four or five pinata scatter symbols for 10, 12 or 15 respins respectively. The board shrinks for this round to a 3x3 grid plus a separate fourth reel holding a single position. A sticky bag of coins symbol occupies the centre of the main grid throughout, while the remaining positions can produce money symbols, extra-spin symbols, or one of four named jackpot symbols. Landing a Win symbol on the fourth reel pays out the combined value of every money symbol in view along with the bag of coins; landing a jackpot symbol instead adds it to that jackpot's collection meter, with the Mini, Minor, Major and Grand jackpots worth 12.5x, 50x, 250x and 2,500x the stake once filled. A Boost symbol on the fourth reel folds any visible money symbol values into the bag of coins instead, where they stay banked for the rest of the round.

Players can skip to the Respins round directly through a buy option, at a cost of 100x the stake for a guaranteed 4 or 5 triggering scatters.

Big Juan runs on a highly volatile math model, rated 5 out of 5, with a 96.7% default RTP that drops slightly to 96.53% when the bonus is purchased. Betting spans 0.40 to 200 per spin, and the maximum win is capped at 2,600x the stake.
