A Christmas overhaul of Print Studios' woodland release gives Big Stack Nutcrack its own snow-covered setting — a mountain scene with Santa's sleigh and reindeer waiting at the edge of a 5x3 grid crossed by 10 fixed paylines. The RTP is fixed at 96.22%, players can wager anywhere from 0.10 to 50, and the developer keeps the high volatility of the earlier game while adding new mechanics rather than simply reskinning it.

Bauble, bell, coffee cup and candle icons form the lower tier of the paytable, each worth 2.5x the stake for five in a row, while four named characters — Fritz, Fillip, Cavalier and Drosselmeyer — sit above them paying between 5x and 10x. A wild scatter substitutes across the board and can be worth up to 100x the stake by itself for five landing at once.

Nutcracker symbols span three positions vertically and can reveal a multiplier as high as 100x when they land fully in view; that multiplier is held above its reel for the next three spins and applies to every subsequent win of the matching symbol, with a new Nutcracker landing on an already-active reel adding its value to the running total rather than replacing it. A fully landed Nutcracker also has a chance to collapse downward through the Falling Nutcrackers mechanic, spilling to fill the reel from the base upward on either side. Separately, Yuletide Gift symbols can trigger an instant prize when they land on a reel already carrying a multiplier, and during the bonus round a Gift can multiply by a single value from the meter or by every value at once.

A background counter called Santa's Sleigh fills gradually across base-game spins; once full, Whistle symbols begin appearing, and each one carries a chance of launching Ultimate Nutcracker Spins directly, after which the counter drops back to a random point and the Whistles disappear until it fills again.
