About Blaze Buddies
Our recorded Blaze Buddies bonus
We have opened Blaze Buddies once on 22 Aug 2026 on stream and logged the result. The best of them paid 102.1× the bet. That is too few open to say anything about how the game behaves — it is a record of what happened on that occasion, nothing more.
Blaze Buddies pairs Hacksaw Gaming's high-volatility engine with a snow-covered fantasy world of playful, animated dragons, rendered in bright colour with plenty of flame effects despite the icy setting. Play unfolds on a 5x4 grid across 20 fixed paylines, with wins formed by three or more matching symbols landing left to right, and a dragon wild that substitutes for every regular paying symbol wherever it lands.
Scatter symbols open one of two free spins rounds, the more common Dragon's Delight feature, or its rarer counterpart, Blaze of Glory, both built around a pick mechanic where players choose dragon eggs to reveal extra spins and modifiers. Three separate modifiers can surface during either round: a Wild Dragon modifier turns a chosen dragon into a golden wild capable of filling an entire reel, a Dragon Multiplier attaches a random value between 2x and 100x that stacks with others across a winning line, and an Expanded Dragon instead turns a chosen dragon into a symbol that covers its whole reel.
The pick mechanic drives the pace of the round: every egg chosen can add spins or hand over one of the three modifiers before play continues, so a Blaze Buddies bonus tends to build in value across several picks rather than resolving in one single event. Both free spins rounds start with a minimum of 10 spins, and landing scatter symbols on reels 1 and 5 during the round awards further egg picks, up to a maximum of six across the whole bonus. Any modifier revealed through the pick mechanic stays active for the rest of the round.
A bonus buy option sends players straight into the free spins feature with every core mechanic already switched on. Blaze Buddies runs at high volatility, returns 96.37% RTP, carries a maximum win of 10,000x the stake, and takes bets from 0.1 to 100.
