Blueprint Gaming sets Bounty Hunter Unchained in a snowbound stretch of mountains, a colder and bleaker corner of the Old West than most releases in the genre bother with, as if a wanted man has just been run to ground. The reel set itself matches the mood: six reels of four symbols each sit below a Top Tracker reel, also four positions deep, running above reels two through five. Blocker Crates can land among the paying symbols, and while they carry no value of their own, they occupy space that would otherwise host a winning combination; they clear away once a win forms beside them, and the grid can expand to a maximum of 10,000 ways to win as a result.

Wins are removed and refilled through a cascade sequence: paying symbols are cleared from the board once they've won, new symbols fall in from the top on the main reels, and on the Tracker replacements shift across from the side, with the whole process repeating for as long as fresh wins keep appearing. The paytable carries five high-value Outlaw symbols alongside 10-to-Ace card royals as the low pays; six matching Outlaw symbols on a winning way pay 1 to 5 times the stake, while the royals return 0.3 to 0.4 times the stake for the same count. The wild appears only on the Top Tracker reel, substitutes for any paying symbol, and is never cleared away during a cascade.

Five or six scatters instead award Unchained Free Spins, ten or twelve rounds that run under the same terms except that Wanted Wilds stay locked in place until the bonus ends. Both rounds can be bought directly: 80 times the stake unlocks Bounty Hunter Free Spins, and 250 times the stake unlocks Unchained Free Spins.
