Brood of Gods

Light & Wonder builds Brood of Gods around three Polynesian deities who take turns overseeing a 5x5 grid, each swap bringing its own backdrop — a lush green scene for the earth deity, a celestial sky for the sky god, and a darker underworld setting for the third. Wins pay on clusters of three or more matching symbols connected horizontally or vertically from anywhere on the board, and stakes range from 0.10 to 20 per spin.

Winning symbols clear from the grid and the remaining ones drop to fill the gaps, but unlike most cascade slots no new symbols fall in from above — the grid simply gets emptier as a spin sequence continues. Clearing every position on the board in one sequence adds a flat 1,000x bonus on top of whatever else has already been won that spin.

Four low-value shapes pay 2x to 3x the stake for five matching symbols, while five deity-themed symbols pay 10x for the same length, and mixed lines made up of any combination of the god symbols still pay up to 5x. Landing a win of three or five symbols in one connected group leaves a wild behind in the space it clears, and that wild substitutes for any regular symbol in the lines that follow.

Only one god is active at a time, and on any non-winning spin it can trigger its own modifier before handing control to the next deity in rotation: one transforms a run of symbols into a single random paytable icon, the second drops a 2x2 block of one symbol type onto the grid, and the third removes every symbol except one randomly chosen type, letting that type cascade down while genuinely new symbols refill the space above it.

Clearing four or five symbols in a single win also produces a Multiplier Coin, and collecting four of them in the base game unlocks five free games — coins that don't lead to a trigger still pay out their own value at the end of the spin, ranging from 0.1x to 0.5x for a bronze coin up to 1x to 5x for a gold one. Entering the free games in Brood of Gods means picking one god to stay active for the whole round, with that god's modifier firing on every non-winning spin and four more collected coins adding an extra free game each time, up to a maximum of ten — though the top RTP configuration is only reachable if the sky deity is the one selected. A starting coin worth 1x is placed above the meter before the round begins, coin values from every source add together, and every win in the round is multiplied by that combined total. Players can also buy straight into the free games for 50x the total bet.

Brood of Gods carries a medium-high volatility rating, a base RTP of 96% with 94%, 90% and 87% alternate configurations, a maximum win of 1,789x the stake, and a hit frequency of roughly 1 in 3.71 spins.
