Concrete Cowboys

concrete Cowboys starts off as one of those games that you just know is a traditional Elk game.

It begins as a Pirates-style game, but as the game unfolds, you start to see all of its hidden quirks that you come to expect from Elk Studios, and Concrete Cowboys delivers what you're expecting. And when that wrecking ball hits, I was not expecting that.

as you continue playing this game, you'll see that your board can increase in size.

When this happens, the foreman, that woman you see on the top left, comes down in Concrete Cowboys and starts taking over the board. From there, we actually went into another bonus in the super bonus called Employee of the Month, which reminds me of a holding spin mixed with snakes and ladders.

And it caught me off guard again. It's just something you come to expect from Elk Studios; their games, especially Concrete Cowboys and Pirates 5, always throw a spanner in the works, that you just don't know, pun intended.

We opened, we got a second one where our green guy got to the top but collected a walkie-talkie. When he collected the walkie-talkie, it turns out that it calls in more people into the holding spins/slash snakes and ladders style bonus. They get to traverse the entire tower again, so it's essentially a respin but just designed in a completely unique and different way.

this one here ended up going absolutely crazy. And those little chests that you see are actually collectors as well.

So they collect everything on the board, multiply it, and anyone on the same roll can come and collect it. Or the two guys at the bottom can actually climb their way up the tower and collect the collectors. It's an absolutely fantastic side quest inside Concrete Cowboys.

And I absolutely love it. I think this is one of the games that I 100% will be playing on stream. There is no way that I will not play this on stream. This is up there with Pirates 5, Pirates 4, and Pirates 3 for me. I love this game.

now, the only downside to this game, even though you're seeing a big win, is the same that you come to expect in all Elk games.

One bonus can take you anywhere from two minutes to ten minutes, depending on the type of bonus you have, and it can either produce a lot or a little. That being said, Concrete Cowboys might be up there as one of my favourite games so far. I genuinely like this game; it might be because it's new and I've just played it as I write this review of Concrete Cowboys, but I love it.

I absolutely love it.

The Employee of the Month is essentially re-spins. There's a bunch of different things that we've included in the game that I'm going to tell you about. So there are five reels, there is obviously symbol collection and wrecking balls, there's the Dead Collectors feature symbols, there is Building Time mode, the Employee of the Month mode, the Heaven mini-game, the bonus game which we've played, and the exterior feature buys.

Now, the ones that I've had as Employee of the Month, I still haven't had Building Time mode and I still haven't done the feature symbols yet. Sorry, the feature buys, those I need to go back and play the game again; I need to see what they are.
