Fish 'n' Nudge

Push Gaming's Fish 'n' Nudge sets its reels on a 5x4 grid with 20 paylines, and stakes run from 0.10 up to 100 per spin. An optional Push Bet raises the stake by 20% in exchange for a better shot at landing the free spins feature; the game runs a 96.4% RTP with the bet off, ticking up marginally to 96.41% with it switched on. The visuals stay calm throughout - bubbles rising past drifting weed to a mellow underwater score - even though the numbers behind the reels lean closer to high volatility than the medium rating on the box.

Fish 'n' Nudge's paytable starts with four shell symbols at the bottom, worth 1 to 1.5x the stake for five across a line. A pair of hooks pay 7.5 to 10x, and the top three symbols - a fish, a rod and a tackle box - climb to 20 to 40x for a full five-symbol run. A Fisherman symbol can land on any reel; it shares the tackle box's payout and also acts as a wild, substituting for everything except the scatter and the game's Net symbol.

Net symbols are the mechanic the rest of the game hangs off. They arrive as overlays in blocks of four per reel, active in the base game and during free spins as well, and after every spin they drop down one position until they run off the bottom of the reels. A Fish symbol's payout isn't fixed on the reel - each one lands carrying its own instant prize worth anywhere from 0.5x to a game-topping 1,000x the stake, released the moment it settles inside a Net. The Fisherman does double duty here too: land it in a Net and every instant prize currently on screen gets swept up, in a Net or not.

Landing three, four or five scatters triggers free spins, and the multiplier is set at 1x, 10x or 25x for each scatter count respectively. Nets begin the feature already sitting on reels two and four, and each nudge downward adds one to that multiplier before it's applied to any fish wins - though the very last nudge off the reels doesn't add to the count. The round keeps going for as long as Net symbols remain in view. Four Bonus Buy options let players skip ahead: a 3-scatter round for 42x the stake, four scatters for 87x, five for 163x, or a random outcome for 100x, each carrying its own RTP between roughly 96.2% and 97%.

Fish 'n' Nudge tops out at a 10,000x maximum win and launched in October 2023, with four lower RTP settings available alongside the 96.4% default for operators who configure it that way.
