ReelPlay flips its usual Infinity Reels shape for this release, running Gems Infinity Reels across a four-reel, three-row grid instead of the taller three-across layout the mechanic typically uses. A pastel world of drifting clouds, crystal spires and a glowing ritual portal frames the action, giving the game a soft fantasy tone built around princesses and gemstones rather than anything darker.

Two separate panels sit stacked on screen at the start of a spin, and later stages can open up to four at once, each shrinking the symbols slightly as extra panels come into play. Only three matching symbols across connected reels are needed to form a win here, fewer than the five usually required elsewhere in the format, and landing one on the outer reel tacks on another reel to that panel; the process repeats for as long as the new reel keeps producing wins before the grid resets for the next spin.

The paytable splits into four gem families, Spinel, Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby, each built from a plain gem, a smaller trinket icon, a single-tile character and a taller three-tile character. Those taller characters, called Wild Princesses, double as the wild, standing in for everything except the dedicated Unity icon and doubling the value of any combination they complete, though that doubling only applies once even if several appear in the same win.

A multiplier attached to every symbol win climbs by one point each time a panel gains a reel, and also climbs whenever one of the Wild Princess characters fills its column completely; neither the multiplier nor the reel count has an upper limit. Three or more Unity icons in the base game pay out directly and open five free spins. Unity icons keep collecting through the round from there: five collected adds another five spins and brings a third panel online, fifteen collected adds a further five spins and switches on the fourth panel, and once every panel is active any winning Unity icon tops the round up by three extra spins.

Having one full Wild Princess present on every panel at the same time during free spins pays a flat 888 times the stake on top of everything else, unaffected by the multiplier running elsewhere in the round. Betting runs from 0.25 to 100 per spin, and the game carries a 96.26% return, medium-high volatility and a 2,000 times stake ceiling.

Base spins tend to stay contained to one or two panels and pay modestly, while the free spins round is where the panel count and the multiplier both have room to run, so the swing between a quiet base game and a fully expanded four-panel bonus is the main appeal of sitting down with it.
