Gold Canyon has that proper old-school Wild West feel to it, and I really like how the cowboy theme runs throughout the game. Playing in demo mode at $2 a spin, the base game has plenty to keep an eye on, especially the expanding cowboy wilds.
When one lands, it can cover the entire reel and help turn what looks like an ordinary spin into a much better win. The gold nuggets, horses and sheriff badges all fit the theme perfectly, and the graphics give the game a nice atmosphere without making everything feel too busy.
