Pragmatic Play turns to Norse mythology once more for Hammerstorm, setting Thor loose over a green valley dotted with longships, snow-capped peaks and a glowing hint of Asgard on the horizon. The 5x3 grid pays across 40 fixed lines running left to right, with stakes from 0.20 to 240 and two optional ante bets sitting alongside the base wager: one costing 50x to guarantee a Thor symbol on every spin, the other costing 100x to guarantee at least five Lightning symbols.

J through A royals make up the lower symbols, followed by horns, gauntlets, helmets, axes and shields as premiums; five matching royals pay 1x the stake while five matching premiums pay 1.75x. A wild can land on any reel, substitutes for the regular paying symbols, and pays 50x the stake for five in a line.

The real action comes from three colours of Lightning symbol, red, green and purple, which land in the base game as money symbols worth anywhere from 0.5x to 10,000x the stake and get swept up at the end of the spin by Double, Expand or Spins chests positioned above the reels. Collecting them can randomly switch on one, two or all three of those modifiers for the respin feature that follows. A Thor symbol on the leftmost reel paired with at least one Lightning symbol sends the game straight into that respin round without needing the chests.

Once triggered, the feature opens with five respins on a 5x5 grid seeded with coins, more Lightning symbols or blanks, all valued between 0.5x and 10,000x; Gold coins and Gold Lightning only appear once the Double modifier is active, and a +1 Spin icon can land if Spins is running. A 2x2 zone on the grid collects any value that lands inside it, including whatever triggered the round, then shifts around the grid to keep picking up new symbols. Collecting five Lightning symbols expands that zone to 3x3 and adds three respins; four more expands it to 4x4 for two extra respins; a further three grows it to the full 5x5 for one more respin. When Double is active, Gold symbols pay out twice, the original value plus a second random amount. Expand switches the whole round onto a 7x7 grid and lets the collection zone keep growing past 5x5 through 6x5, 6x6 and 7x6, each stage worth extra respins. Spins simply raises the odds of landing that +1 Spin icon.

RTP is set at 96.5% by default, with 95.50% and 94.50% configurations also available, against high volatility and a hit frequency of roughly 1 in 3.77 spins. The maximum win is capped at 10,000x the stake. With three modifiers able to stack inside a single respin round, the feature's ceiling depends heavily on how many chests fill up before the base game even ends.
