About Hot Potato
What Hot Potato has actually done in our bonus hunts
We have opened Hot Potato 5 times across 5 separate bonus hunts between 9 Jul 2026 and 4 Oct 2026 and recorded every result. Across those 5 opens the median result was 35× the bet, against 50× for every slot in our recorded dataset. The biggest single result we have recorded on it is 82.5×. None of those 5 opens reached 100×. 5 opens is a small sample and describes only these recorded sessions — it is not this slot's RTP and it does not predict what your next bonus will do.
Hot Potato is an online slot from Thunderkick, with high volatility, a published RTP of 96.20% and a listed maximum win of 10,000x.
RTP varies between casino configurations and markets, so check the information screen inside the version you are playing. A maximum-win figure is a theoretical ceiling, not a likely result. How these pages are researched and what the recorded play data does and does not show is set out in our editorial policy.

Hot Potato FAQ
What is the RTP of Hot Potato?

What is the max win on Hot Potato?
The advertised maximum win for Hot Potato is 10,000x. Max wins are extremely rare by design — treat them as a ceiling, not an expectation.
Who makes Hot Potato?
Hot Potato is developed by Thunderkick and was released in 2023.
What is the layout of Hot Potato?
Hot Potato plays on a 7×7 grid with Cluster pays paylines.
Can I play Hot Potato for free?
There is no free Hot Potato demo on this page. What is here instead is real play: 5 bonus opens from 5 recorded hunts, with a best result of 82.5× — every figure comes from a bonus hunt recorded on this site, not from a simulator.
