Idol Pop Fever

Pragmatic Play stages Idol Pop Fever as a televised talent-contest performance, putting a fictional pop act through their paces on a five-by-five grid evaluated across 20 paylines. The stage design leans on bright concert lighting and oversized production values, with a small cast of named performers standing in as the top-paying symbols above a run of card-rank low pays split between microphones, headphones and the letters J through A.

Five of a kind on one of the performer symbols pays between 5x and 12x the bet, while the microphone, headphone and card symbols return smaller amounts for the same length of combination. Backing up the paytable is a wild that appears on every reel and covers everything except the scatter.

The main feature works off random highlighting rather than a fixed trigger: after a spin, one symbol type on the board can be marked, and every copy of it converts into a wild carrying a multiplier of 2x, 3x or 5x, with all resulting wins running through those multipliers together. This can happen in both the base game and the free spins round, so a highlight late in a free spin can still land a heavily multiplied combination.

Three or more scatters award ten free spins, and each further scatter that lands during the round adds an extra spin on top. The base game also has a near-miss mechanic built in — two scatters can trigger a respin on the reels that came up empty, giving a second chance at the third. Free spins entered on four scatters guarantee the highlighted wild carries a 2x, 3x or 5x multiplier, and entering on five scatters narrows that guarantee to 3x or 5x.

Two paid options sit alongside the natural triggers: raising the base bet by 3x lifts the odds of reaching free spins to roughly five times the normal rate, while a one-off spin costing 20x guarantees a highlight occurs on that spin, though it can't produce free spins itself. Separate feature buys let a player pay 100x to jump straight into the free spins, or 500x for a version that guarantees both a highlight and the stronger multiplier range on every spin of the round. Across configurations, Pragmatic Play rates the RTP at 96.5%, 95.51% or 94.50% depending on setup, with high volatility, a hit frequency of roughly 1 in 5.37, wagers from 0.20 to 240, and a maximum win of 5,000 times the bet.
