John Hunter himself tops the paytable at 100x the bet for five in a row, backed by ink quills, parchment scrolls, telescopes, hourglasses and globes as the next tier of high-value icons, worth 15x to 75x for a full line. J-to-A royals fill out the lower end at 7.5x to 10x, and there's no standard wild in the game — every extra win comes through the Mystery symbol instead.

A Mystery symbol can land fully stacked on a reel, and when it does, every position on that reel flips to a single matching pay symbol or a Money symbol. Because those converted symbols count on every reel rather than only in a straight line, a stack can pay across positions that wouldn't normally line up, and revealing enough Money symbols this way opens the door to the respin round.

Six or more Money symbols on the board trigger three respins in which only blank spaces or further Money symbols can appear. Money symbols carry their own value, worth anywhere from 1x to 5,000x the bet, and some instead carry a free spins or super free spins trigger. Landing a fresh Money symbol during the respins resets the counter back to three, and once the board is full or the respins run dry, every Money value on screen is added up and paid out — filling the entire grid adds a further 2,000x on top, and any Money symbol carrying a free spins prize pays that out once the respins finish.

Three scatter symbols trigger the free spins round, choosing one pay symbol or the Money symbol at random to act as that round's Mystery symbol; landing two scatters alongside a super scatter instead unlocks a higher-tier version where the Money symbol is guaranteed and there's no option to gamble beforehand. Before a standard round begins, players can gamble the chosen symbol up to the next tier — from the royals, through the mid-value icons, into the top symbols, and finally to the Money symbol itself — or simply bank what's already been picked and start spinning. During the round, Mystery symbols build up into a full stack before revealing whichever symbol was locked in, any scatters collected count toward a meter, and every four of them gathered lifts the round to the next tier while adding two more spins.

A feature buy lets players skip to the round directly for 80x the bet, or 200x for the guaranteed higher tier. Pragmatic Play lists three selectable RTPs — 96.5%, 95.5% and 94.5% — high volatility, and a hit frequency of roughly one in five spins. Betting runs from 0.10 to 250, and the maximum win of 5,000x the bet comes almost entirely from the respin feature's Money symbols stacking value across a filled board.
