Lucky Neko Gigablox

Yggdrasil Gaming tucks Lucky Neko Gigablox inside a small Japanese curio shop, waving cat figurines and round Daruma dolls lining the shelves while soft traditional music and the odd Japanese voice line play under the spins. The look favours a calm, tidy presentation over anything frantic, closer to a display case than a typical high-energy reel set.

Wins in the base game form from three or more matching symbols connecting on adjacent reels from the left, across forty active paylines. Layered on top of that is the Gigablox mechanic behind Lucky Neko Gigablox: on most spins, at least one set of reels locks together and drops a single oversized symbol block, sized 2x2, 3x3 or 4x4, and more than one of these synced blocks can appear together.

The paytable splits into two bands. Four card-suit icons — rendered as small glowing screens rather than plain pips — fill the lower tier, while four Daruma dolls in purple, green, yellow and pink sit above them as the premiums, paying between 8x and 10x the stake for six of a kind depending on colour. A gold wild also appears, substituting for any of the paying symbols to help complete a line.

Landing five or more scatters anywhere on the grid opens the free spins round, and the number of scatters in view sets how many spins are awarded, so a bigger landing means a longer round. The game changes shape once it starts: the row count doubles, paylines climb to eighty-five, and Gigablox blocks can now land as large as 5x5 or 6x6, pulling far more of the grid into a single win. One paying symbol is also chosen at random before the round begins to become the Blessed Symbol, its payout multiplied by five for the duration — turning the pink Daruma's base 8x into a 40x hit for six matching.

Yggdrasil publishes 96.4% as the return figure, with a hit frequency of 15.45% and volatility set to medium-to-high. The maximum win on Lucky Neko Gigablox is 6,953 times the stake, and bets run from 0.08 up to 100 per spin. Because a synced reel drops on nearly every spin rather than only occasionally, the shifting block sizes keep the grid looking different from one spin to the next, and the Blessed Symbol multiplier during free spins does most of the heavy lifting when the bigger results land.
